Take a wide legged stance (3-4 feet apart). Turn the right toes out 90 degrees. Bend into the right leg until it makes a right angle with the knee directly over the ankle. Place the right forearm on the right quad. Reach the left arm overhead, rotating it internally. If ready, the right hand can come to a block or the floor behind the right foot. Another variation- place the right elbow on the right knee for pressure.
